Kevin Ketterer Medical Fund

On February 24 Kevin was involved in a head-on collision and recieved serious injuries. After extricating him from his truck, EMS transferred him to the hospital in Cortez. Due to the number and severity of the injuries, later that day they airlifted him to St. Mary's hospital in Grand Junction. After several surgeries, he now has two plates and 20 pins in his arm, a rod in his leg and pins and plates in an ankle. He also has fractured vertebrae and facial bones, but those they expect to heal on their own.

After a week in the rehab unit, he was cleared to go home. Needless to say, recovery will be a long and challenging ordeal. He is in a wheelchair and won't be able to put his weight on his leg for months. He is amazingly positive about the whole ordeal and is doing his exercises and therapy each day as per doctors' orders. Currently, family members have been giving much love and support and have been staying with him helping him with everyday tasks; driving him to doctors' appointments, cooking, etc.
