Ketkeo's Medical Expenses

Ketkeo was assaulted around 430pm June 26th, 2020 in the Temple Street Garage by 8 teenagers. They assaulted her from behind, pushed her to the floor, and beat her while she was on the ground. She lost conciousness multiple times during the attack. They stole her purse and tried to take her car but heard someone, got spooked, and ran off.
We've received many requests on how they can help and if we have a GoFundMe set up for contributions to help pay for medical and business expenses. It is hard for me to ask for help for my mother again considering just two months ago she was a victim of vandalism in the same city. This poor woman only knows how to work. She was coming back from a run to the store to restock up on bean sprouts because she HATES telling customers we are out of stock of an item. But she continues to experience hate and unfortunately so far has been let down by the city of New Haven. We have learned that they also do not have cameras in the Temple Street Garage, they do have one in the lobby, however were told that we have to wait until Monday to get it since the person in charge of the surveillance does not come in until Monday.
She is currently at home resting. She is bruised, battered, and very sore. She is suffering headaches and chest pains but still managing. She will be ok.
If you cannot offer your contribution in monetary value, I am also accepting help in raising this lack of security issue with the City of New haven. Please get the word out, any way you can. Demand security, demand more police presence, demand justice for Ketkeo. Demand that she does not experience hate for a third time. We are lucky she is alive today, but we do not want to know what could happen if there is a third time.
