Kester Peters Rocks On!
The Kester we know is full of heart and rock 'n roll. Let's keep our friend going by giving a little bit of love during the worst days of his life.
...For all my friends concerned, this is my current update on my Stage 4 Esophageal Cancer.
I've completed 3 chemo treatments so far and have no clue if it's working or not. After the 6th treatment my Dr will evaluate my cancer from a ctscan. The irony to this is eventually the chemo will no longer work with my cancer and will return to finish me off. Lifespan to my cancer is 1yr. This leaves me with plan b, clinical trials. Experimental treatment with no guarantee of success but better then impending doom once chemo fails. I've been doing my homework checking trials from California to texas and there's so many choices it gives me hope 1 of them will be suited perfectly to me. So the search for the magic elexer is now my prime focus. I'm open to any great ideals but please be realistic. I truly believe a cure awaits it's up to god and my Dr to help to find it.
I've been working part time to help pay bills, some days I'm too sick but I try my best anyway. My weight is currently 135lb ,can't seem to gain more weight. Originally I was nearly 180lbs but radiation changed all that..
Good news,my feeding tube has been taken out so I feel much less pain.
Thanks for being my friend!! I love you all.
