For anyone who knows me, even just a little bit, you know how much I love Kesler. He has been struggling for months with an ear infection that antibiotics haven't been able to treat.
Due to the nature of his infection, it has caused nerve damage to the left side of his face and severe damage to his ear and he now requires TECA surgery. I will post the details of that below.
I have to come up with a $4800 deposit before I drop him off next Wednesday for his surgery which is only an estimated 75% of the cost.
So I am asking, pleading. If you know how much I love Kesler, if I've ever mentioned him to you, or shown you a photo of him, you know he's literally my best friend in the world, to please donate if you can. Literally every dollar makes a difference. If you're uncomfortable with GFM, please reach out, and I will gladly accept etransfers as well.
Total ear canal ablation (TECA) is a surgical procedure performed on dogs and cats to remove the diseased tissue of the external and middle ear, often due to chronic ear infections or other severe ear conditions. This procedure is usually combined with a lateral bulla osteotomy (LBO) to address middle ear issues.
