Hi friends,

 

I'm writing in hopes that we can rally to support our dear friend Keshia on her road to recovery after a rough few years. Keshia has lived with a rare brain malformation, called Chiari, and recently received a life-changing surgery to improve her quality of life. We know Keshia as a vibrant, funny, and talented photographer who documents musicians, events, and social justice movements in and around the Richmond area.

 

Unfortunately, before her surgery, COVID had a significant impact on Keshia's livelihood built on live events. Now, on top of her pandemic-caused economic hardship, she has a long recovery ahead of her. She is in need of financial support to ensure all of her bills continue to be paid and alleviate the stress of returning to work before her body is ready. She has seen consistent challenges getting disability support from the State and due to this, needs immediate help.
