Greetings family and friends!
Our beloved Keshia Ragland passed away unexpectedly on October 2, 2025. She has left behind an 11-year-old daughter and a mother that she was the caregiver for. Keshia did not have life insurance. Keshia was a caregiver and a hard worker in the healthcare field and was much loved in the community. In August of 2023, Keshia had a stroke but continued to work. However, in June 2025, she had a massive heart attack which kept her in the hospital for 1 month. Keshia was in and out of the hospital and eventually took her out of work with no benefits. Although she had health challenges herself, Keshia continued to care for her mother. We are seeking help to raise $10,000 to take care of a $7,700 funeral expense to include funeral home costs and the purchase of the grave. The remaining will go towards care for her daughter, Keyunnie Brooks, who is 11 years old.
All funds raised will go directly to the funeral home first and then to the care of her daughter and mother.
We would like to have her services on Friday October 10, 2025 at 2pm. Location will be announced later. With your donation and help, then this will be possible.
F.K. Jones Funeral Home, 1205 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Rome, Georgia 30161. Phone: [phone redacted], fkjonesfh.com, is in charge of her arrangements and will be accepting donations as well.
If you have any questions, feel free to call her cousin, Bishop Dion Blackwell, at [phone redacted], or her mother, Frances Wilcox, at [phone redacted].
We are heartbroken over the sudden loss of our beloved Keshia Ragland. She was an incredible caregiver, a loving mother, and a cherished member of our community. As we navigate this difficult time, we're reaching out for help to cover the unexpected funeral expenses and support Keshia's 11-year-old daughter, Keyunnie.
We're aiming to raise $10,000, and every little bit helps. If you can, please consider donating and sharing this post. Your likes, comments, and shares can make a big difference in spreading the word and getting more people involved. Let's honor Keshia's memory and ensure her daughter has the support she needs. Thank you for being there for us during this challenging time.
- Thank you in advance.
Keyunnie Brooks, Frances Wilcox, and the Miller and Ragland families.
