Kery Long - Experience
Donation protected
You probably remember Kery Long, a member of our Customer Service team, who was diagnosed with a brain tumor around 2010. After surgery and a lengthy recovery that left her partially blind and physically less able, the cancer went into remission for some years.
However, earlier this year the cancer returned and has been growing quickly. Kery was recently given a terminal diagnosis with approximately 6 months to live and so has been trying to get things off her bucket list, as she puts it. She decided a few days ago that she is not well enough to travel, but would love to attend a hockey game here in Calgary. Kery would love to see her favourite team, the Philadelphia Flyers, take on the Flames this New Year’s Eve, or failing that, the Chicago game on January 27th.
We would like to send Kery and her friends and family to a box suite at the Saddledome so that they can enjoy the game in style.
Please, if you remember our time together at Evoco with any fondness, donate what you can to help us give Kery an evening to remember. Any amount will help, and any monies collected over and above our target of $6000 will go to support Kery and her family through what will be a challenging time.
Thank you for any support you can offer. We appreciate you and wish you and your families the best for the New Year.
