On Monday July 20, 2020, Alexia and Kevin received a call that no parent ever wants to hear.  What they thought was just a tooth infection turned into something much much worse. After many tests, they found out that their little princess was diagnosed with Leukemia.  Childhood cancer is something we will never understand but it affects everyone involved. With the permission of Alexia and Kevin, we have set up this go fund me fundraiser to help ease the burden of medical expenses they will incur during this time for Kerry's treatment. This is going to be long road for Kerry and her family, but if there is one thing they have taught us is that positive mindset is everything! Kerry has always been so full of life and love and is the epitome of a Hero: an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles. How lucky that while people wait their whole lives to meet their hero, Alexia and Kevin gave birth to theirs.  Alexia and Kevin are the most caring, strong, and loving parents we have met and we know that with our support and prayers, they will get through this.

As you know Alexia lives in Florida but Kerry was visiting her family in California and they will be staying there for Kerry’s treatment. She will be out of work as she provides for Kerry. Please considering donating, no amount is too small!! Below is a post from Alexia:

Sometimes you wonder why bad things happen to innocent people. And my little princess does not deserve to be going through this. No kid ever deserves to go through something like this. I am very proud of the way that she is handling all of it. I feel like she is stronger than me. Her positivity and personality is beyond incredible. The only thing that I can do is pray, and be positive for her! I know that we will get through this with the support of all of our loved ones. ❤️For my “Fit Fam” I know you guys are all wondering why I am not teaching classes at the time, and some of you have reached out and hope that I am doing well! Thank you guys! I won’t be back to teaching classes anytime soon due to the circumstances. I need to be here for my daughter through all of her treatments. This is a long journey. Thank you for understanding, and just know that the words I always say in class are being put in good use right now. “Mind Over Matter” staying positive is what is helping me get through this right now.
