Kerry & Penny Rose

Hello! Many of you know our dear Kerry Rose has been at Mayo Clinic since early March. Circumstances have made it clear that the Lord has called Kerry to retire from active pastoral service at Calvary Church. In Kerry’s words, “He is calling me to be useful to Him in other ways: whether in hospital or hospice, via time with family and friends, phone calls with congregants, talks with caregivers, or wherever His will takes me on this journey as I "fulfill my ministry" (2 Timothy 4:5).”

Within the next six weeks, Kerry and Penny will be staying near the Mayo Clinic while Kerry receives hospice care. He will likely not be coming home to Albuquerque, but in his words, “going to a different one.”

If you’re like me, you wonder how you can help practically, especially since there’s distance. Though the Roses aren’t ones to ask for help, they have allowed me to set up this “Support Train,” should you feel inclined to love on them this way. I know they'll appreciate it and it will bless them greatly.
