Hello all,

My name’s Kirstyn and Kerry was my best friend. After discussing the difficulties of a tragedy like this with Kerry’s family, they have given me permission to start this fundraiser on their behalf.

All money donated will go directly to Kerry’s family to cover these unexpected expenses

When a young person like Kerry is taken from us, finances can be crippling for a family. Kerry was too young to have a funeral plan and Norma, Dene and Sara deserve to grieve their beautiful daughter and sister without the disruption of financial worry.

I’m asking of us all to support them in any way we can to allow them the time to focus on what is important; being together and remembering how special Kerry was and somehow begin to accept what has happened.

Kerry was an incredibly special person, in the 20 years I’ve been blessed to know her, I can’t think of a single time she did something only for herself. She was the most selfless angel and the loss we are experiencing is one that will never be replaced. As the news of Kerry’s passing has become known, it is clear how many people’s lives she has touched.

At this time of year, it is so difficult to ask people to give something to this fund, so on behalf of the family, thank you to anyone able to help us give our beloved angel the send off she deserves.

The family wish to thank everyone who has taken the time to reach out with words of support and condolences. The outpouring of love for our girl has been overwhelming and solidifies just how many lives she touched. We are so sorry for anyone having to feel this level of deep, profound sadness. Hold your families closer this Christmas and make as many memories as possible.
