Hi my name is Diana and I am writing this with an extremely heavy heart.

Kerry Doyle Brownell is my dearest and closest friend of Forty years. Kerry was a light to everyone who knew her. Her warmth, kindness, strength and beautiful smile touched countless hearts. Sadly she passed away on November 10 and leaves behind her beloved Mother, Sister, Brother in Law, Nephews, Nieces, many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and many friends and colleagues in Canada and Scotland. Her absence will leave an emptiness to everyone who knew her that words can't describe.

Most importantly Kerry was a devoted mother to her teenage SON Keegan. Kerry loved her son more than anything in this world and he is her pride and joy. She always spoke of how proud she was of the young handsome man he is becoming.

I have created this GoFundMe in honor of my dear friend and of the promises we made to each other as young girls in the event that one of us would be gone before our time, the promise that we would look out for any children we left behind. Creating this GoFundMe in her honor and for her son is the least I can do.

Keegan now begins his life journey without his mother by his side. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will help Keegan navigate through his young adult life with ease and allow him the financial freedom to plan for his future.
