Kerris is a sweet, energetic, humble 9 year old girl about to start 4th grade at Hall elementary in League City, Texas. On July 22nd, Kerris was unexpectedly diagnosed with Large B Cell Lymphoma. The cancer was initially discovered from a primary tumor behind her nasal cavity. She is in the hospital at Texas Children's Hospital. She has had nasal surgery, multiple lumbar punctures, and started chemo this week. She is tolerating the chemo therapy well and will be in the hospital until they determine the effectiveness of the surgery and chemo. Her family has been by her side since she was admitted on July 16th. Kerris and her family have a long road ahead as they battle this unexpected turn of events this summer. They will need to consider assistance for missed work, tutoring for school, medical expenses/supplies and childcare. Thank you for any assistance for this great family!
