Tomorrow makes 10 weeks until I am finished with high dose chemotherapy treatments. This is by far the hardest thing I have ever done. Who would have thought that after 9 years of being cancer free, I would be battling this disease and that it would be stage 4.
It is now more than ever that I believe that THIS MUST STOP. Too many children are growing up without their mommies due to breast cancer. Especially in the African American community. Breast cancer does not have to be a death sentence.
Please join me in supporting the non profit Praise Is The Cure by making a gift of $10 or more. Praise Is The Cure is dedicated to eliminating the disparity for black women as it relates to breast cancer. They do this through their referral, awareness and support services. Become one of my Pink Praise Warriors and help cheer me on to victory over these next 10 weeks.
My goal is to get 300 people to donate $10 or more. A $1 for each week of chemo. Small acts of kindness have a ripple affect.
