Every school has that student; that special student that brings their own sunshine through the doors and makes the halls ring with the sound of their laughter.

Kerren Johnson was that student at Mastery Charter School Shoemaker Campus. She was everywhere.  At the front desk greeting students, giving tours to visitors, running errands for her teachers.  

She knew everybody, and everybody knew her.  Her spirit shone bright, and our school was a better place because of her.

On Sunday, April 2nd, 2017, Kerren passed on. 

As we join together as a community in mourning, we are raising funds to support Kerren's family in covering the direct costs of her funeral services.
