Keri's knee replacement

I originally started my gofundme to help with the costs of my knee surgery that was scheduled for July 12.  Between an illness of my own in June and then Maui's diagnosis in July the surgery was rescheduled to August 23. 

Although Maui had pet insurance it didn't cover all the costs and I missed a lot of work to stay home with her 24/7 in hopes that she could beat all odds and recover from the blood clot in her heart. 

She fought hard for 8 long days but she died suddenly at home with me on July 15.

Any donation of any amount would help me tremendously as I prepare yet again to endure this surgery without the love of my life by my side.  

Hi friends! Im finally doing it! After 25+ years of chronic knee pain and multiple surgeries it's time to have a total knee replacement.

I've spent the past 12 years caring for the animals of boulder county. It's time to take care of myself. Unfortunately that means I can't work for several months. Although I have the support of my family and "work family" I still find myself feeling overwhelmed about the financial aspect.
