Keren Hapuc Llanes Rodriguez

Dear family and friends, It is with a heavy heart, a state of sorrow we mourn the loss of beautiful Keren Hapuc Llanes Rodriguez, daughter of Maria Martina Rodriguez.

My name is Damaris Samano and I am Keren’s cousin. I am trying to help my family in any way possible in their time of need.

The loss of Keren Hapuc Llanes is devastating and unforeseen. She went missing Sunday morning on April 24, 2022, from her family home in Guamuchil, Sinaloa while her family was eating breakfast together. From all of Sunday until Tuesday, the community and law enforcement came together to search for my missing cousin. Tuesday morning, April 26, 2022, she was found deceased in a nearby river. Although Keren is not physically with us anymore, her memories and love continue and will always be with us. This tragic loss has brought my family such great heartbreak and sorrow. There are no words to take the pain away from family, friends, and the entire Guamuchil community.

While nothing can ease the pain our family is going through right now, we hope that through those that Keren has touched and the generosity of our community, we can provide my aunt’s family with some kind of relief. As much of a nightmare, our family is experiencing at this time, we hope that our community comes together and helps our family in this time of need and sorrow. All donations will go to my aunt's family to help cover Keren’s medical, funeral and memorial expenses. We are thankful for your continued prayer and support.
