Kera’s Last Hurrah

There are no words to describe how unreal it feels to have to start writing this. Our crazy beautiful sister, daughter, and friend Kera is no longer here with us. Her passing is sudden, unexpected, and truly unbelievable.

Kera was one of a kind. It’s something that can’t be written to describe. It’s just Kera. She knew many people through her many different walks of life, yet she touched everyone of us in the same silly, spirited way. There was just this tenacity she carried that can only be understood by those of us who knew and loved her.

A few of us girls closest to her want to honor her in the most Kera way possible. Of course we will be respecting our father in heaven so there will be a mass organized for her friends and family in Tucson. However, if you knew Kera, that wouldn’t suffice. It has been decided that in March, around her birthday we will host a memorial. We don’t know details of anything just yet, but would love for anybody and anyone to be able to come. This allows time, but also allows us to financially be able to pull ends together as well. Which brings us here.

We would like to ask anyone who can, to donate so we can organize and plan to celebrate our dear friend the way she deserves to be remembered and celebrated. We decided on gofundme for full transparency. Again, anything helps. I’ve learned the hard way that death is and industry as harsh as that may sound, and we all need to be here for our KK to let her go in peace properly.
