Kerala Flood Relief Fund - Canada

More than 100 people have died (and still counting) and over 220,000 people homeless in the worst flooding in nearly a century in the south Indian state of Kerala.
State of Kerala (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kerala) located in south of India, is facing a turbulent time and its worst devastation due to heavy rains and floods. Dozens of dams in the state have reached danger levels, and 34 dam and reservoir gates have been opened. With houses submerged by flooded waters, roads, power lines and mobile networks compromised leaving people homeless after unusually heavy rain in the past nine days. An estimated damages caused by this disaster is more than 1 billion dollars.
Regina Malayalee Association, a non profit organization based out of Saskatchewan, Canada is requesting donations to help support the Kerala Chief Ministers Distress Relief Fund (CMDRF) and and other relief activities coordinated by RMA. With over 1500 relief camps set up across the state in light of this disaster, we request you to kindly donate to support people of Kerala in re-establishing their life. Each and every donation is greatly appreciated and helps those in need of basic necessities including clean drinking water, food and medicines.
