Kerala Flood Relief (2019)

Dear Friend, 

Kerala and whole western ghat region is going through another catastrophic flood event on the anniversary of the last year's historic floods. This time the northern districts of Kannur, Wayanad, Kozhikode and Malappuram are severely affected by  deadly mud slides and severe floods.

So far more than 80 lives were lost and at least 50 people are missing in a mud slide that wiped out a whole village.  2.5 lack people are in various flood relief shelters. 

Malayalee Association of St. Louis is organizing this fundraiser to help people affected this catastrophe. We are planning to do two types of support 

1. Immediate supply for essentials to various flood relief shelters 
2. Support for after flood recovery by directly funding couple of selected projects
