Hi, my name is Glen Combs. I grew up in Hazard and Whitesburg, Kentucky, (small towns in Eastern Kentucky) and now live in Lexington, Kentucky. I have been friends with Chloe Adams family for over 45 years and have set up this fundraiser to help them obtain much needed assistance to help them rebuild their homes and lives following July's flooding.
Chloe and her family are natives of Whitesburg. Chloe’s incredible story of swimming herself and her dog, Sandy, to safety has become viral. She and her family are in desperate need of support. Chloe, and her extended family, live in the homes surrounding the rooftop she and Sandy are pictured on - all of which have been submerged in water and are uninhabitable. Like so many other families in the region, the Adams have lost essentially everything, and need to begin the incredibly difficult task of rebuilding their lives after this devastating natural disaster.
Your donations will help them clean and repair or rebuild their homes, furnish those homes, replace automobiles, and obtain everyday essentials such as clothing as needed.
Thank you all for your generosity, prayers, and support!!
*The GoFundMe organizer is a friend of the Adams family, and has received their permission to create this page on their behalf. Donations go directly to the family.
