Kepa's Life-Saving Heart Transplant Fund
Donation protected
Kepa is a loving husband and father of four. One day his life was typical. Then, in the blink of an eye, everything changed and all of our lives were turned upside down. In mid-November, Kepa went to the emergency room because his heart didn’t feel right. He was admitted for observation, and within a week, he had total heart failure, was on life support, and was being medically transported to Seattle, Washington to seek advanced therapies. Kepa was in the ICU at University of Washington Medical Center for over two months; he received the gift of a heart transplant, and has been in the hospital trying to recover from everything he’s been through. He’s had ups and downs throughout this medical journey and still has a long road ahead of him. Our family is seeking help to support Kepa along his road to recovery to cover medical expenses, transportation to medical appointments, and living costs as he recovers in Washington before he is able to come home to Hawaii.
