- Hi, my name is Maria Malone and I am Brook Sanders' mom. Brook's boyfriend, Keonte Keys, was recently diagnosed with the horrible/terrifying disease of ALS, also called Lou Gehrig's disease. We are very unsure of what the future will hold, but he has already undergone lots of testing, and the medical bills are compiling already. Let alone the fact that he is unable to work, and for those of you that know Brook, you know she is self-employed and will have lots of future appointments and road trips to Indianapolis with Keonte. We are very grateful to all of you that have reached out and have offered prayers. This is honestly unimaginable! For those of you that know us, you know that we are not the kind of people to ask for help easily, so please know this is all very difficult for all of us. However, we have had many friends and family ask what they can do to help. Keonte is only 26 years old; please lift him up in your prayers and thoughts, and anything you can do to help him and Brook at this point is very appreciated!
