I started this Gofundme to help my brother and his family, as they adjust through a long road to recovery.

Keoni suffered a heart attack (several to be exact). Starting on Friday August 5th, he was taken to the ER cause of severe head and neck pain. After a few tests, he was sent home. But Sunday, the pain was back, and after being discharged again, he was back on Monday morning.

After more tests, including a spinal tap (due to an 18,000 white blood cell count) and extremely high blood pressure, they found 4 clogged arteries. Finally, on Wednesday the 10th, we had open heart surgery, where they took the vein from his left arm to replace the clogged arteries.

Anyone who knows Keoni knows that he lives and gives everything for his friends, family and most importantly, his three beautiful kids. This year has been full of ups and downs, from his first year coaching his twin girls in their first year of softball, going undefeated and winning the Championship! To now, this challenging setback of battling back from 4 bypass surgeries, two MRI's, a spinal tap, two CT scans, ultrasounds and three ER visits. Along with at least three months of rehabilitation and medications.

We have already been getting help from our friends and family. But we are still a long way from our $20,000 goal. This amount will help pay off the medical bills, rehab, medication and other bills his limited insurance covers. Keoni is strong and resilient. He has done so much for so many others and I am proud to call him my brother. Thank you for your time and donation. May God bless you and your Ohana (Family).
