If you’ve ever come across Kenzo on your feed, you’ll know he’s not just any dog.

He’s the kind of soul that stays with you. The kind that makes you smile without trying. Over time, he’s become so much more than a TikTok dog, he’s been a little light in a lot of people’s lives.

But right now, Kenzo is struggling.

As he’s getting older, his health is starting to catch up with him, and some of what he’s dealing with is incredibly painful. He has entropion — a condition where his eyelids roll inward, causing his eyelashes to rub against his eyes every time he blinks. It’s constant irritation, constant discomfort.

After trying multiple antbiotics while with Jamal and now myself, the infected masses on his face need to be removed, and despite all attempts to relieve and aid his pressure sores on his elbows, they will need attention too.

Since rehoming Kenzo, me and Jamal made a promise to him that his life would be filled with love, safety, and comfort. That his later years would be peaceful, and that he would never be left to suffer in silence.

We’re doing everything we can to keep that promise, we can’t do it completely on our own❤️‍

We just want to give him comfort, and take his pain away as quickly as we can. 

After exploring all options and speaking with multiple vets, we have found a vet that is willing to help us help him. As anaesthetic comes with a risk, also including his age, we have decided it is best for Kenzo to undergo 1 surgery for all issues rather than multiple surgeries to relieve him of going through so much. This also helps bring the cost down considerably.
