Kenzie is the daughter and 2nd child of our dear friends Kelley and Rick Dahle. Kenzie suddenly developed a life threatening heart arrhythmia last week which required ICU hospitalization and a Life Flight to Mayo Clinic/Saint Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN for the life saving hospitalization and is having the defibrillator implanted today and may be facing more surgery to restore her normal heart rhythm.
Kenzie and her husband are both teachers who reside in Mankato, MN and are the parents of Lilah, their adorable 1 year old daughter. Kenzie was set to start coaching track this spring at Dakota Meadows Middle School where she is an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher.
If you can help in any way- Kenzie and her family could use the following:
1) Please pray for peace and God's healing, protective hands around Kenzie and her entire family as they live moment to moment right now. Pray that she will be reunited with her daughter and experience the health and vitality that young mothers need to raise their children.
The lives of our family and friends can change in a flash as we go about our regular routines. It's hard to imagine the uncertainty and sleepless nights they have been experiencing for the past week.
2) If you can donate any amount of money it will be gratefully used toward the hospital and Life Flight expenses. If you know Kenzie personally, please consider sharing this fundraiser with your family and friends to reach as many as possible.
3) If you can't help with funds, but would still like to help Kenzie and Dan with your acts of service- I'm sure they could use help from their friends and family for light housekeeping, cooking a heart healthy meal, or even mowing their yard.
