Kenyon's Road to Recovery

On February 11th, Kenyon was in a devasting high-speed car accident due to another driver coming into his lane resulting in Kenyon being in a head-on collision. His femur was broken in four places and he needed emergency surgery where a rod and cables were placed inside his leg to help stabilize the bone. He also suffered two brain bleeds, a neck fracture, lacerations to his liver and kidney, and a bruised lung. We feel so very blessed that he is still with us, and are so grateful to the troopers, paramedics, and doctors that have all taken care of him during this ordeal. We owe his life to God, and the guardian angels that were sent to watch over him.

Unfortunately, the costs of medical care at the hospital, rehab hospital, necessity of a new vehicle, and potential need for legal representation have put us in need of help.

Kenyon has already been making Superman-like progress with his physical and occupational therapy. He is determined to get back to life as normal as possible, and is fighting it fair both physically and mentally, but we know there's a long road to recovery. If you know Kenyon, you know that with his will power and strength, he will conquer each new obstacle put in his path.

The last couple weeks have been very difficult and hard to accept such a tragic change in our lives. I've been by his side spending most days and nights with him at the hospitals, advocating for his well-being, and taking care of him the best I can.
