Hello, my name is Kenya.

In 2022, I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Kidney Disease. Since then, my health journey has included dialysis treatments three times a week and countless hospital visits. By God’s grace, I now have a blessing on the horizon—my family member has stepped forward to be my living donor so that I can finally receive a kidney transplant.

While this is a life-changing gift, the reality is that the recovery process will be long and costly for both myself and my donor. After surgery, I will need extensive follow-up care, medication, and time to heal before I can regain a sense of normalcy. My donor, who is selflessly giving me this chance at life, will also need support during their recovery period.

Because of my condition, I have not been able to work, and the financial strain of medical expenses, aftercare costs, and basic living needs continues to grow. This fundraiser is to help cover those expenses so that both my donor and I can focus fully on healing without the added burden of financial stress.

I know times are difficult for so many, but any amount—big or small—will truly make a difference. Your generosity will not only help me receive the gift of life but also ensure my donor is cared for as they recover from their incredible act of kindness.
