CAS Trip to Kenya - International School of Hilversum
Donation protected
We are Peb van Rooy, Mick Rombouts, Peer Geraeds, and Tim Rutten, a group of IB Students at the International School of Hilversum.
From February 13th-23rd, we are going on a service trip to Nakuru, Kenya under the supervision of Mr. Sean Michin and Mr. Ron Kim, together with other IB Students such as Nicola van der Merwe that are also enrolled in the DP1 curriculum at the International School of Hilverusum.
We have the opportunity to support Primary Education at the Kariba Road Primary School, Nakuru Town, Kenya. There, the raised funds could be used for purposes such as renovating the school, buying an electronic school bell, purchasing equipment to construct a football pitch and building safer classrooms or a library.
We believe that the students at the Kariba Road Primary School, Nakuru Town, Kenya deserve to have the opportunities that we have at the International School of Hilversum. Our goal is to contribute to the learning environment at this school, hopefully setting them up the primary school students for better futures in the process.
All proceeds will be sent to my mom Ida Ruttens’ bank account. From there, all funds will be distributed directly to Kenya through Justine Agterdenbos, the Business Manager at the International School of Hilversum.
We will continue to keep you updated as to how the money is being used in Kenya. Thank you for your generosity and support!
