Kenya Vision

Hi, my name is Prof Dara Kilmartin and I’m an eye doctor fundraising to help the community of Cherangany, Kenya to help develop their new eye hospital, Transcend Eye Hospital. Your donation will be used to directly help train local doctors and nurses and help treat their patients with modern eye surgery and treatments. I helped open their brand new eye hospital in February 2025 where the community is in dire need of modern eye care. Patients were waiting years in some cases for surgery with blinding cataracts. Further training opportunities will be funded in Ireland and locally for Kenyan eye doctors and nurses. Modern eye surgery is expensive with costly consumables, lens implants and drugs. Your donation will help fund these treatments.
