We are stepping out in faith and obedience as we prepare for a mission trip to Kenya in August of this summer—a journey that means so much to our family. First and most importantly, we ask for your prayers: for protection, provision, and for God’s presence to be made known in every step.

We know that ultimately, God will provide everything we need, but if you feel led to support us financially, or if you wish you could go and want to be part of this mission, we would be so grateful. Your encouragement, prayers, and support mean the world to us as we step out in faith.

This trip is a full circle moment for us. In 2017, before marriage and children, I traveled to Kenya and experienced the incredible work being done by local pastors and churches. Now, nine years later, I have the opportunity to return—this time with my husband by my side for almost two weeks, August 17-28th. For him, this will be his first time leaving the USA, and together, it will be our very first trip away from our children. We’ve never even taken a honeymoon, so this journey is both a leap of faith and a step outside our comfort zone. We feel deeply that God has invited us on this trip, calling us to grow, to serve, and to witness His power in new and profound ways.

We will be going with JB Legacy, who has been the boots on the ground over the years building relationships, and a small group of people from our church who are excited to dive into this mission and see what God wants to do. The funds we raise will help cover airfare (our largest expense), passports, travel and care for our boys while we are away, and supplies for the trip. They will also allow us to give generously to the pastors and churches we’ll be supporting in Kenya. Any amount we do not need to use (for example, if flights are cheaper than expected) will be refunded to donors. We want to make sure every need is met so we can focus fully on serving and learning.
