Kent was a kind, humble Corydon native that was an inspiration to many by the way he lived his life and by the way he faced adversity in the form of cancer. Kent passed away on April 22, 2007 but his inspiring story of courage is remembered by many.

We are raising money to purchase a memorial bench to be placed in Downtown Corydon in Kent’s memory so that others will continue to be inspired by him. Any excess funds that are collected will be donated to the Kent Watson Baseball Scholarship Fund through the Harrison County Community Foundation.
