Donation protected
Our medical staff and care workers on the front line do not have enough Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to protect themselves against the risks of Covid-19.
Our government is not prepared enough to deliver these essential protective items to staff who are risking their own lives to give care to our loved ones.
The visors we make cost around 70p to make .
They are a one use visor, made using a sheet of clear A4 Acetate plastic, with a foam strip for comfort and protection and a white elastic band to hold the visor in place. They are made to appropriate specifications approved by NHS Trusts and Care Homes that we will supply.
We will also be purchasing ready made visors that can be cleaned at hospitals and re-used multiple times.
We are a group of 26 volunteers, with a premises to store materials and dispatch from in Gillingham, Kent.
All funds donated will go towards buying materials to make visors and transporting / sending visors to hopsitals/care homes.
Every person involved in making visors are volunteers.
We are ready to start buying materials to get this project going and we are asking you to please donate to this cause.
We will be both making and purchasing Visors and other much needed P.P.E for hospitals & care homes in Kent.
Any excess unused funds will be spent in areas as discussed with our local NHS Trusts.
