Kent Family- fight for Kidney Transplant Success and Hope!

Donation protected
A year ago, Philip Kent was hospitalized and diagnosed with IgA kidney disease. Then roughly 6 months later, Philip was hospitalized again in January of this year, and the disease had progressed aggressively to stage 5 kidney failure. Since his hospitalization in January, Philip has been undergoing daily dialysis treatments at home each evening. Thankfully, last month they found out that his sister, Sarah, was a direct donor match and could give him one of her kidneys. With that news, they scheduled surgery and on Friday, May 30th, Philip will undergo a kidney transplant surgery with his sister at Baylor Hospital in Dallas.

However, another hardship struck Philip and his family this past week. His car was stolen from in front of their house and later found by the police, but the front end was wrecked and undrivable due to steering column and ignition damage, which has added more stress and difficulty during this already challenging time.

If you feel led and are able to support the Kent family in any way—whether through financial assistance for his upcoming hospital stay, meals, or keeping them in your thoughts and prayers—it would mean so much to them. His expected time out of the office will be at least 3-4 weeks.

Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
