Ken has this personality that most people can’t help but like. Quiet, but quick with a joke or ready for serious conversation. He has been helping his Dad for the last couple of years with his fight with cancer. Ken after a while of having issues with his stomach, which he chalked it up to stress with new house and Dad, decided to go see a doctor. To his surprise they found multiple masses in his Bowles. Doctors diagnosed him with stage 4 colon cancer and found that his liver has spots too.  He is currently going to various chemo therapy treatments to see if mass are reduced. Then most likely a potion of his lower intestine will be removed and some more chemo.  He is fighting this as best he can.
I know he is feeling the pinch because he can’t work right now, but still has to cover all his expenses. It will be a long time before that will change, with only very small stipend from disability insurance. 
Please help my friend, fellow union brother and coworker.  It will be greatly appreciated.
