Ken's 50th Birthday Surprise
Greeting Friends and Family!
I hope you all are staying as safe and healthy as possible.
In this new year, 2021, on July 15th, my dear husband, Kenneth Wiener, turns 50! For his birthday, I'm setting up this GoFundMe to raise funds for an epic 50th birthday *******SURPRISE******* present - that I'm hoping you all can be a part of...!
I'll try to wrap this up as quick as I can:
As all of you know, Ken loves to get into his hobbies, namely - cycling, traveling and building beautifully complicated bespoke projects (i.e. his career).
For his 50th birthday, I would love to be able to give an epic and beloved gift that will touch him to his core. As I'm fairly certain, many of you know Ken from either one of the aforementioned hobbies, and/or are family... and can attest to how much you know this gift will rock him. 
It's about Ken, so let's show him how much we appreciate him!

2. And here's a reason for using a funding campaign... This has been a hard year for every single one of us so I want to start by saying that there is no obligation to contribute financially. However, if you are able to contribute, the funds would go towards these three epic gifts:
i. BICYCLE - To help finish funding THE custom bicycle of his dreams... and shiny new cycling kit to go along with it!
ii. CYCLING TRIP - To help towards a 50th Birthday cycling tour (in Japan) with said bike - July/Aug-ish 2021 (dates TBD - but come join if the travel situation is feasible and possible by then!)
iii. TEA Thea AWARDS - To help procure four deserving "Physical" Themed Entertainment Association Thea awards for the award-winning projects he has worked on (awards approx. $250 ea. + shipping).

The book of friends and family memories is my highest priority! Ken is very sentimental (love that about him!) and holds his friends and family close to his heart. Ever since I've met Ken, I've heard many fun, scary, exciting and unbelievable stories of so many of you, whom I have yet to meet. FUNDING GOAL DATE - June 1, 2021.
~~i. Ken is a very passionate person, especially when it comes to his family. One of the biggest ways he's been keeping himself positive during these unprecedented times is by staying physically and mentally healthy through his passion of cycling. The bicycle he currently rides is a beautiful bike, but very old, as is all his cycling gear - shoes, helmet, suit, etc. Recently, this bicycle broke - twice! - and his other gear is falling apart (they're over 20+ years old!) and it's been tough for him as cycling is his outlet. He has been in the process of building his dream bike through Velo Pasadena, his cycling family in California, for the past year. The bike is nearly ready to go and I would love to surprise him with taking care of the balance due!
~~ii. Ken's original plan for his 50th as to hike Kilimanjaro with some friends. Due to COVID-19, of course this isn't possible. He's talking now about doing a cycling tour in Japan - locally or in Hokkaido, depending on COVID-19 situation. The funding for this would go directly to the additional gear he needs to do such a tour, as well as help fund his accommodations and food.
~~iii. For the final part of the funding, I would LOVE to be able to procure the actual physical awards for the four award-winning projects Ken has worked on. TEA, Themed Entertainment Association, is equivalent to The Oscars for the Themed Entertainment world. For Ken, these awards would represent the accomplishments of his career, thus far, and a reminder of the brilliant people he's worked with along the way.
