Kenric lost his life to gun violence in Chicago on July 5th. He was a son, brother, nephew, cousin, boyfriend, and a force of nature in this world. He was in love with martial arts and self-defense but didn't have a chance to prove his self-defense skills in his last minutes. Walking to buy camping gear at REI, he got caught by multiple bullets. An ambulance transported him to Illinois Masonic Hospital where he passed away.
