Ken is a combat veteran who served in the US Navy from 1992-1996 and then the US Army from 2002-2007. While serving in the Army, Ken was deployed to Iraq where he served with the 305th Psychological Operations Company during "Operation Iraqi Freedom". He also graduated from Old Dominion University in 2005. In 2006, he joined the Norfolk Police Department and served in the 2nd Patrol Division and Detective Bureau as a Robbery and Homicide Investigator.
Ken is married to the love of his life, Stacey, and has twin boys and a beautiful daughter. They all cherish and love him dearly.

Ken was diagnosed with a rare juvenile form of bone cancer, Stage 4 Osteosarcoma. He is currently receiving aggressive forms of chemotherapy which leave him exhausted but fighting for each and every day. Treatments are extremely expensive and costly for Ken's family. Donations, prayers and positive thoughts are more than welcome as Ken fights for himself now after serving his community and country.
