Unfortunately, because we suddenly and unexpectedly lost, my dad, Kenny Sparks the morning of Tuesday, August 15, 2023, I am desperately in need of any financial help that you may be able provide to help me cover his funeral, burial, and final expenses.

Fortunately, he did have a very small insurance policy that helped a little bit with some of the expenses and his mother, my grandmother, had purchased his grave plot years ago, but that has still left me having to sign an agreement to pay quite a hefty bill that remains which I know I can't afford on my own. I was very blessed in having a couple of people unexpectedly step in and help with the funds that were due upfront. I can't express how thankful I am for that and I don't know what I would've done without them. Now, I'm forced to ask for help as I'm unsure how I could cover the remaining expenses without help as I can only work part-time and still have to be able to provide for myself and my daughter. So, if there's anything at all you can spare to help me cover these unexpected expenses, no matter the amount, please know that it will be extremely helpful and I will be eternally grateful for your kindness.

Please know that when deciding on his funeral options, we did our very best to select the options that were most affordable, yet still nice enough to honor the wonderful man we were forced to lay to rest on Friday morning.

To everyone who was there that night and/or morning, to those who attended his viewing and/or funeral, and to all of those who have called, texted, or stopped in to check in on us, leave food with us, or just cry with us, thank you. Thank you all for being part of his life and ours. Thank you for caring as you do. He is both loved and missed, there's no doubt about that. Though we are all grieving and will be for a long time to come, we are thankful to God for taking Daddy into his own hands to heal and care for. We know that just as he came to visit with us almost every day, he'll be watching over us all just as often from heaven. He simply has a better view now.

We held his viewing Thursday, August 17, 2023 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM.

His funeral was held Friday, August 18, 2023 at 11:00AM.
