Kenny’s Cancer Battle

Hi my name is Maxine, I know first hand how go fund me can really be beneficial at a time of great difficulty, having been on the recipients end when my husband was fighting his Cancer battle. I was able to care for him at home without the added financial burden and stress that can be overwhelming at an already extremely stressful time .

I am hoping the Scott Family will be blessed financially as they face a similar battle.

Kenny and Judy, have been long standing members of our community for the past 20 years. They have worked and raised their children Kelly and LeeAnn here and build many relationships and made memories within this community.

Kenny and Judy have been facing a hard battle for the past two years. Kenny was diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroendocrine Carcinoma (NEC) a rare tumor. He currently has a football size tumor in his liver and a baseball size one by his heart.

He has had numerous treatments since finding out his diagnosis. Ten rounds of Chemotherapy Infusions and radiation.

Now Kenny is transitioning to home hospice care in the next few days.

Because of this debilitating illness Kenny has not been able to work for the past two years and Judy was laid off because of the Covid cutbacks and her unemployment pay has just ended.

Judy has needed to be available to drive Kenny to all his Dr appointments as well as being by his side to help care for him so obviously not able to work.

They will be so thankful for your prayers and support during this time.

Due to the decreased income they will need help to supplement their finances for the next few months.

It is my goal for Judy and Kenny to be allowed the time and energy to focus solely on their family and moments together without the stress of money and bills being at the center of their thoughts.
