Kenton Pinder’s Stroke Recovery Fund
Donation protected
Our beloved friend and brother, Kenton Pinder, has suffered 2 serious ischemic strokes since March, 2019. An ischemic stroke occurs when an artery to the brain is blocked, and Kenton’s MRI shows that he now has blood clots in the left side of his brain. Kenton’s strokes have caused paralysis along the right side of his body, and he has difficulty speaking, seeing, and walking. He needs constant care and support.
Before his strokes, Kenton was well-known in our community for being a fabulous stage performer, a popular MC, and our children’s favourite uncle.
Kenton is only 37, and he has no health insurance. While he is currently undergoing speech and physical therapy locally, it is our wish to get him the best care as soon as possible.
Kenton’s closest lifelong friends have started this GoFundMe page to help with his medical expenses (further testing, travel, accommodation, specialists, therapy, living expenses, at-home care) and general financial support (mortgage, bills, and groceries).
Time is crucial for stroke recovery so we'd like to get Kenton this help now! Any donation, big or small, will be a tremendous help in Kentons journey to recovery.
We send a heartfelt thank you in advance for any help you can give to Kenton, who so desperately needs it. And thank you, everyone, for your support and prayers.
