One of my dear friends Kenny Nelson was injured in a serious accident . He is going to be upset that I made this go fund me as he is too proud and stubborn. But I know the situation he is in and if anyone of us was in it we would need a hand also.
He he broke his vertebra in 3 places, his nose, facial injuries, tail bone, bruised ribs, serious wounds to his leg, knocked some teeth out.
He has been working on his dream car a 67 Chevelle for over 2 years. Last Thursday he took it out for a test drive after some adjustments and all we know is he called a friend to call for a tow truck and ambulance and that the throttle stuck open. He ended up slamming into a telephone pole. He doesn’t recall any of the accident or even most of the day before the accident.
The car is totalled and he is going to be laid up for quite some time. This go fund me isn’t to repair the car or replace it. It’s to help them get through the financial hardships of being out of work and hefty medical bills during his recovery.
He will still need a couple more surgeries and dental work.
