Kenny's Stroke - Support Fund
Donation protected
On March 30th, my dear brother, Kenny, at age 27, suffered a sudden stroke, paralyzing the right half of his body, and his ability to sing and speak. Those of you who know Kenny, know that his beautiful voice is not only a gift to us all, but also the center of his career pursuits.
The stroke was caused by a clot in the basal ganglia of his brain. He was rushed by ambulance to the hospital where they were able to administer the clot-busting medication within 45 minutes of when the stroke began. Because of the location of the clot, he has lost the ability to move the right side of his body, and he works hard to put together words to be able to speak.
Kenny is an incredibly brilliant vocalist and talented musician, and the best freaking Starbucks barista you’ve ever seen. While strokes can have permanent effects, his doctors are hopeful for recovery, because of Kenny's age, health, and strength. They have prepared Kenny to know that it will likely be an incredibly long recovery, with a minimum of 6 - 12 months.
Those of us who call Kenny family and close friend, all know we have been so blessed by Kenny’s friendship, and the way he so deeply loves and fiercely protects the people in his life. We are honored to now take our turn to fiercely support, love, and protect him as he begins this journey to recovery.
Please consider donating and partnering with us as we work to alleviate the financial stress, with the hope of allowing Kenny to be free to focus on his recovery.
-----
Here are the needs:
To cover his deductible and Kenny's income while he is unable to work.
While he does have health insurance, the deductible will be $5,000. The doctors are hopeful for recovery being possible, because he is strong, but he will be out of work for at least 6 - 12 months. We are hoping to alleviate this financial stress, by covering his medical bills 100% and supporting him financially during his recovery.
His loving husband Thomas is supporting him with everything he has, but Kenny not being able to work is causing them fear of not being able to afford his time in rehabilitation, instead of Kenny focusing on recovery.
We want Kenny to focus on recovery.
We want Kenny to focus on recovery.
We want Kenny to focus on recovery.
You are SO strong Kenny. You are brave. You are stubborn as they come, and we believe that you are going to conquer this! You got this brother!
Thank you in advance for your donations and prayers!
