How many times did Kenny ask to sit on you? Some of us, a little more than others. Now, it's your turn to return the favor!
The Boston Parks Department approved a bench dedicated in his honor in Peters Park , in the South End. Peters Park is located directly across the street from Kenny's apartment on Shawmut Ave.
When I was walking through the park to find the bench, I was going back and forth between two locations for his bench. While sitting on one bench, a super hot guy in a tight t-shirt, with pecs bulging, brought his beautiful dog into the park, and came right in sight of the bench. I believe it was Kenny saying, " Girl, this is the one!" Who am I to disagree?
For the plaque installation and maintenance is $1500. This allows for a twelve year dedication to Kenny. I was also told that the bench dedication program was being discontinued. This means that the bench will be in the park in perpetuity.
The sooner I can get the goal, I can pay the Parks Department, and we can have a memorial to our awesome friend in a place he loved in life.
