Kenny Gammons medical expenses

Family and friends,

As you well know, Kenny Gammons is a mighty warrior for God. He’s a true leader and loves like none other. He is a mighty man and king! He leads his family and loves them like God loves us. He is always giving of himself and never puts himself first.

 

Well, the time has come where we get to come together to love and support him and his family like he has done for so many of us so many times!

 

While attending the Mighty Man leadership retreat, Kenny had a heart attack and had to be cared-flighted to the hospital. God had already surrounded him with men who performed CPR and were able to save Kenny’s life multiple times! The paramedics did the same in the helicopter on the way to the hospital. God knew what was going to be needed and placed every piece where it needed to be!

 

His loving family rushed to the hospital to meet him and found out he was stable but critical in the ICU. Kenny had survived a blocked widowmaker vein, had a stint put in, and was resting. Several updates later and here is the latest:

 

His tubes were taken out earlier this morning and he has responded really well. He is awake and alert. He’s not talking quite yet, but he IS trying to communicate which is great progress. He is eating ice chips and eating small amounts of applesauce. He has a wonderful nurse tonight who is a Christian and is very positive. He recognizes and knows who my mom is and who me and my husband are. He is being taken care of so well and we are so grateful! We will find out tomorrow morning when he gets transferred out of ICU. He does have a little bit of short term memory loss which is to be expected, but we are praying for continued healing and strength.

 

There is NO brain damage! We are still waiting to hear about heart damage, although, we do not believe there is any damage.

 

Kenny is a

FIGHTER and he is fighting hard! God has worked a miracle and is continuing to work a miracle in and through Kenny.

 

Family, let’s come together for this mighty man of God and his family and show them the love they so freely give others!!

 

His wife Maridee and daughter Paige Barker will be using the funds toward paying his unknown medical bills (will be high, especially with a helicopter flight) as well as lost income as it’s still unknown how long he will be out of work.

 

Continue to be in prayer and stand in agreement that Kenny will be restored to better than before through the power of the Great Physician, our Mighty God! His word says that by His stripes we are healed and we are going to stand on that and claim the victory! The family will continue to provide updates on his journey through recovery!
