THE HEART OF THE FAMILY AND COMMUNITY:
Our dear friends need all our help!
If you’ve been wondering how you can help this exceptional family; this is it! The Georgia Transplant Foundation is matching up to $10,000 of money raised for Kenny’s transplant and other associated medical expenses. As you may already be aware, Kenny has been in the hospital since April 16th and was just ok’d to come home July 6th!!
As a husband, father, son, uncle and friend he is anxiously awaiting to get back to his normal, active life as soon as possible. Kenny’s beloved wife and 5 children are beyond excited to have him home and have been preparing the house for his arrival. He will be coming home with an LVAD (left ventricular assist device) which will do the work of his heart while he waits for his new one.
Kenny will be reactivated on the heart transplant list as a tier four once he’s recovered from the open heart surgery he had to put the LAVD in. He will have to travel to and from Emory hospital weekly for his transplant team and cardiologist to continue his acute care. Their expenses are adding up and there is still the transplant and other medical support that’s on the horizon; they could use our help.
OUR goal is $25,000 for medical expenses related to the transplant. The family is beyond grateful for any help you can give. The time is now if you’ve been waiting for a fundraiser.
Again, the Ga. Transplant Foundation will be matching up to $10,000!!
The Brevard family is appreciative and has been overwhelmed with the love and support from their community. They have felt all our prayers and have seen God work in mysterious ways. They are asking for no visitors to their home at this time, so that they are able to keep Kenny's environment clean. But once they get settled and are able to establish a routine, I am sure Kenny will enjoy the company.
Thank you.
