If you are reading this, chances are you know Kenny Bolton. Kenny has been a singer, musician and entertainer for over 40 years. You’ve probably seen Kenny on stage at The Big Bang, Howl at the Moon or The Piano Bar in Columbus, Ohio. You may even remember Kenny as one the original members of the entertainment team at Alley Cats in Dallas, Texas. However you know Kenny, you know he has had an undeniable impact as an entertainer, father, manager, mentor and as a friend.

Thanksgiving week, Kenny was diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer - glioblastoma. He was admitted to The James Cancer Center in Columbus, Ohio, where he underwent brain surgery to remove a large tumor. He is currently in the hospital recovering, but he’ll hopefully get released in a few days. Over the next few weeks, Kenny will rest and recuperate before starting a long round of chemotherapy and radiation treatments.

Our profound thanks to the surgeon, the OR team, nursing staff, patient advocates, and all those Angels at The James Cancer Center who have worked on Kenny throughout this unbelievably challenging time. A special shout out to Kenny’s next-door neighbor, Grace for getting Kenny to the ER in the nick of time and literally being Kenny’s saving grace.

As Kenny recovers, gets stronger and starts his extended cancer treatments, he needs our help. One of the best ways to support Kenny is to help ease the financial burden of medical bills, rehab and treatments, as well as living expenses for the next six months. Kenny hasn’t asked for any help. That’s not in his nature. We, his family and friends, ask on behalf of Kenny to help him fight this fight. All donations will go directly to Kenny.
