Kenneth's Hope: Overcoming Cancer

Dear friends and supporters, hello, my name is Brittany Dawson. I am the daughter of Kenneth (Kenny) Dawson. We are now reaching out to our beloved community to ask for your financial and prayer support with his battle with cancer.

Two years ago, my father was diagnosed with gastrointestinal cancer (stomach) at stage four. Kenneth loves to sing and hang out with his wife. He loves to do yard work, cut grass, plant flowers, and play with his grandchildren. But most of all, he loves to tell jokes and make people laugh.

When it became a challenge for my father to do those things, we knew that his health was rapidly declining. During the first year of his diagnosis, he started his first chemotherapy treatment. He was sent home with a chemotherapy bag. Months later, we consulted with his oncologist and learned that this form of treatment was not effective and the tumor was growing.

After several other chemotherapy treatments, which all failed, we now have no other options. He has been sent home with palliative care.
