Kenneth Charles Hunter -- Dad, Granddad, Brother, and Friend -- has been diagnosed with cancer and will pass on soon.

His path has been full and varied, traversing political eras from Truman to Biden, and with experience as a shoeshine boy to a draftsman with diamond tipped pens.

 

He traveled to points far and wide during the glamour days of flight with World Airways, and has been living in Cameroon since 2001 confirming that humans are the same everywhere.

 

Now it is his time to travel to the unknown.  He has chosen a pirogue as his means of transport.  We will place his ashes in the pirogue, light it up, and send him on his way across the Atlantic, on the edge of the Milky Way, where he will become one with infinity.

 

But he must obtain his Golden Ticket to ensure safe passage. Please send him on his way as he desires, effortlessly and efficiently. He will appreciate all contributions, and will feel your love.

Kenyan's Explanation: Here in Cameroon, burial is a sacred event on family land that is not taken lightly.  Since we don't have family land, finding a plot is next to impossible.  My dad is not in a state that would allow travel back to the US, and so we had to find a solution here.  Luckily, he wants to be cremated, and there is one place that has begun to offer that option.  Unfortunately, the service and the administrative costs are expensive.  Therefore, we need your help.  Thank you.
