Kenneth was involved in a motorcycle wreck 8 June 2017 that almost took his life. He suffered major injuries to the right side of his body that include fractures to almost every bone on that side to include his leg, arm, ribs, and spine. He has health insurance but did not have coverage for loss of wages at work. He will be unable to walk for 3-6 months and likely will not be able to return to work for a year if he's able at all. He will have to have at home care as well as many modifications done to his home so it can be wheelchair accessible as he recovers. Simple tasks he used to take care of such as mowing the yard, basic home upkeep and changing the oil are now unable to be taken care of. Any help getting him and Sue back on their feet and to make an easy transition home would be greatly appreciated. Sue will be staying in Tyler at the hospital hospitality home.
