Funeral for Kenneth Mendoza

 

My name is Gomathi and I am fundraising for the funeral of my best friend (Sophia's) husband, Kenneth Mendoza who passed away on November 16, 2021 at North York General Hospital. Kenneth was only 34 years old and it was a sudden and unexpected death. On Monday morning at 7 am, Kenneth had an asthma attack. Sophia tried to gave him CPR and called 911 immediately but unfortunately all efforts were in vain.

 

Sophia is still in shock and disbelief. Kenneth was her rock, her best friend and her world. It breaks my heart when she kept saying " why did he die, he was too young and such a good person" and "what I am gonna do without him".

 

Sophia is going through very tough financial situation. Sophia works for a non-profit organization, helping the community in Toronto GTA.

 

I am hoping if we all can please help her during this extremely difficult time. This is the first time I am raising a funds through a public platform and I sincerely hope that as a community we all can come together and we can help Sophia.

 

The funeral service will be held next week in Toronto and currently we are waiting for Kenneth's mother to arrive from the Philippines.

 

We are absolutely devastated by Kenneth's sudden death and are struggling to find the funds to cover the cost of the funeral and to provide financial assistance to his wife, Sophia.
